A few ago, I posted a single photo from Leah and Daniel’s wedding. Why just one? Well, honestly, time was short, and there are so many beautiful images from their day that I didn’t want to leave out, and as soon as I saw this one, I knew I had to share it. Immediately! Where do I start with Leah and Daniel? How about from the beginning! I met Leah and her mother back in January to hear all about the wedding, the details, and her love for Daniel. As I’ve mentioned before, I absolutely love, love, love weddings! I love hearing the plans and the excitement from brides and grooms. And as soon as we met for their engagement session (and here), I grew even more excited for their Big Day! These two truly share something special. Leah and Daniel, I’m so happy that our paths crossed. I wish you all the happiness in the world! Thank you for allowing me the honor to witness and document such an important milestone in your lives. So before I get all teary-eyed (ok, too late!), let’s get on to some images!
It’s a beautiful autumn Friday, and I’m working on editing a lovely wedding…Leah and Daniel’s Wedding to be exact! I saw this image of the two of them, just after they had said “I Do!” I caught this sweet kiss during their first moments alone as husband and wife. Leah and Daniel, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding, it was absolutely beautiful!
It was a Friday afternoon. The phone rang. A nervous, yet excited voice on the other end mentioned that he was getting married and needed a wedding photographer…for a Tuesday afternoon wedding in September. I loved hearing the excitement in the groom’s voice as he described their upcoming wedding details and venue. I remember hearing him say something about a little white chapel, enclosed by a white picket fence, surrounded by grass and woods. Oh, and they would be surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family members. It was like the chimes of wedding photography heaven rang in a harmonious symphony! Ok, maybe I’m being a little over-dramatic, but I knew this wedding would be nothing short of fabulous. And what a fabulous day they had, the bride and her groom. Oh, Candice and Patrick! Under the blue sky, as witnessed by the people dearest to them, they vowed to spend forever making each other happy. And as you’ll see by their smiling faces in the images below, they’ll indeed love every minute of forever. Together. Congratulations, Candice and Patrick! And thank you so much for the honor of allowing me to capture your special day!
I’m sure Patrick won’t mind my sharing this, only because it is so sweet, I think his new bride would love to hear it…Soon after the wedding, I had been in correspondence with the groom, and he wrote this regarding his newly minted bride: “Thanks again for coming to shoot the wedding…I agree that it was beautiful, my lady has a way of doing that to every day.”
What a beautiful day it is! And what a beautiful wedding day Candice and Patrick had! Blue skies, warm sunshine, smiles and hugs from their closest friends and family, and a little white chapel…what more could you ask for? Here are just a few images from their day! Congratulations, Candice and Patrick! I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon in the Windy City!
Words cannot express what a beautifully amazing wedding Kayleigh and Michael had! Two gorgeous people, inside and out, met in a garden at sunset to promise forever to each other. All I can say is thank you for letting me be a part of your perfectly lovely day. You have quite an amazing family and such an awesome group of friends. As I mentioned in their Sneak Peeks (here and here), it was a typical hot and humid Midwest summer day, but that didn’t phase anyone. There are a ton of images coming your way, so get comfortable and enjoy!
