I’m an introverted extrovert. And although I’m a terrible singer, I love to chant my favorite songs – everything from T. Swift to hip hop – when I’m in the car! I love tiramisu and coffee with too much milk. Scarves are one of my must-have accessories! I’m addicted to design of all kinds – interior, landscape, graphic, food, fashion, all of it.
Ohhh, what a fabulous wedding day Natalie and Kyle shared! Here is a small sneak peek of their beautiful, joy-filled day of celebration! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Raleigh! You are married!!!
I loved working alongside these wonderful wedding industry professional who made the day effortlessly amazing:
Happy June, friends! Is it just me, or has 2021 been flying by at record speeds? Speaking of speed, I hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing holiday weekend! Did you attend the Indy 500 or watch it on TV? Reggie took Remington for the first time, and he loved it! It was a busy one for me with photographing an absolutely gorgeous outdoor wedding, morning and evening walks with my hubby, pool time with family and friends, and feeling so very thankful to live in this great country of ours that allows me the freedom to do so many things! And with that, I’m so excited to share what’s been going on behind the scenes here…a newly updated website! Eeek!!! My previous one had become antiquated in terms of how it worked, so it was time to start anew and I am so thrilled with how it has come together! There may be a few minor tweaks to come over the course of the summer, however, it’s ready for its debut! If you take some time to check it out, I would love to hear what you think! I’m also over the moon because it’s peony season once again! Despite the late Spring frost and snow (?!), these hearty beauties have blossomed and thrived. And I can’t help but to draw some parallels with humanity and how we are emerging from the pandemic with strength and beauty and perseverance. Without further adieu, here are some photos of my sweet white peonies, which are the first to bloom of what we have planted in our backyard. And if you missed the sneak peek from this weekend’s wedding, I’ll share that here too, because it was so “paw-fect”! 😉 Remington has one more day of 2nd grade tomorrow, and then school is out for summer! What do you have planned for summer?
You may recall seeing these two awhile ago on my blog for their spring engagement session at Newfields. Hannah and Ryan have been planning and anticipating their wedding day for over two years, and this past weekend, they shared their vows among friends and family, both in person and via the internet! It was a cool and lovely October day, with autumn hued florals and a beautiful rustic location, The Barn at Crystal Spring Farm. I can see why this couple fell head over heels for this very special place! This is only a quick sneak peek, however, I can’t help but to share it! Every detail was carefully planned with intention and beauty, interlacing their love story and memories over the past 7 years they’ve been together. Their adorable niece and flower girl, Lucy, stole the show…and everyone’s hearts! It has been such a joy and honor to be alongside Hannah and Ryan for the past few years! You see, I not only photographed Hannah’s high school senior portraits, but the pair also were a part of a styled wedding shoot in 2015, where I wished and prayed that one day I’d have the privilege of photographing their wedding one day, because I knew they were a perfect match! When I received Hannah’s email that Ryan had proposed on their trip to Italy two years ago, I was over the moon excited for them and we immediately began planning their #bestdayever!
Hannah and Ryan, thank you both so much for everything! Witnessing your wedding day was an incredible honor! Your families and friends are warm and caring and wonderful in every way! Wishing you A Thousand Years of happiness, love, and laughter! Love and hugs to you both!!!

When a talented local floral designer asks me to photograph her work…my answer will always be yes! This past weekend I had the honor and privilege, not to mention oh sooo much fun time!!!, of documenting Elizabeth’s stunning work at The Balmoral House in Fishers, In. She owns Satin & Stems, and she is so passionate about her work and about creating something absolutely magical for her clients. And I love that about her! I shared a sneak peek with her yesterday and today, and I can’t help but to share it here too, because it was all so insanely stunning!
Elizabeth and Anthony (her sweet husband assists her on wedding days!), thank you so much for inviting me to photograph this gorgeous day! Despite our typical Midwestern heat and humidity of July, along with the wind, you made this dreamy, romantic garden wedding space come alive with so much beauty! Let’s do it again soon, ok?
Venue // The Balmoral House
Floral Designer // Satin & Stems, Elizabeth DiGiusto // Elizabeth of Satin & Stems creates full tablescape designs with rentable items. Have a wonderful day, friends!
