Starting off with a favorite, why not?!

Jack’s 5!!! Turning 5 is a very big deal!

Todd had recently returned from serving our country in Afghanistan for the past year.

These next images just melted my heart.

And being able to photograph this family happily together again absolutely made my day.

Quite possibly my favorite image from the whole evening! Such a happy family!

I know I say that I love my job all the time, but, honestly, I truly do love my job!!! Why? Simply because I get to meet and hang out with cool people…like this family! They showed up ready to rock their evening session. Here are some of my favorites!

Hello, Greer and Parker!

Lovely Louree! A beautiful name (pronounced like Marie, with an “L”), a gorgeous smile,

sparkling eyes, and killer boots!

Hi there, Parker! I absolutely adore her smile!

And, this whole family is just blessed with amazing, soulful eyes!

Meet Greer. She is beautiful! Although she is quite, her eyes tell a story.

And she picked this awesome spot on her own, bravely climbed right up, and worked it out!

Lana + John, you two are so cute!

And here’s Harrison! What a handsome guy!

Another favorite! I love a happy family!

Sneak Peek: Family: John + Lana + Harrison + Louree + Greer + Parker

“Sugar and spice, and everything nice, that’s what little girls are made of!” And Mason is one of those sweet little girls! She is growing so fast…and she moves fast too! I can’t believe she’s just over 18 months old now…time sure does fly, doesn’t it? (Check out Mason’s “her-story” here, here, here, here, here, and here.)

Favorite! Mason, you are the definition of cute!

She brought one of her favorite toys, Hop-Hop, aka Hoppy the Bunny. 🙂

And I just love this one…

Like I said, she can move fast! Off and running!

We played a game, which I now call Bunny See, Bunny Do.

When Bunny sat on the chair, Mason wanted to do it too! 😉

I just love Mason’s carefree spirit and energy in this one!

We saw a few squirrels running around, and she would have loved to have caught one!

Mason, thank you for spending your afternoon with me! You are a total sweetheart!

Sneak Peek: Mason: 18 months

What a great evening we had for a family session! Meet Todd, Cristina, and Jack! A fun, loving family with gorgeous blue eyes! And Jack is turning 5 very soon! Happy early Birthday, Jack!!!

Sneak Peek: Family: Todd + Cristina + Jack

I can hardly believe that this little guy is 6 months old, well, now 7 months! Colin is such a cutie! I met up with him and his parents at the park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Kristen and Nick just celebrated their 2 year wedding anniversary – Happy Anniversary!!! They are absolutely smitten with their little man, and I can totally see why! Take a look!

Colin definitely knows how to work the camera, I love his serious expressions here!

He brought along some of his favorite things to play with…cooking utensils and a shiny pan!

Perhaps it’s a hint that he’ll be a world-famous chef one day…

Some passers-by saw Colin reading his favorite book and commented that this was quite possibly the cutest thing that they had ever seen…and I have to agree!
