I’ve been super excited to post more images from this session!  You may recall seeing their Sneak Peek on facebook a few weeks ago.  I met Julia a few years ago, and we’ve kept in touch since then.  And we finally got to connect for an amazing opportunity I had to host a student from IUPUI through their externship program.  I had the best student, Sylvia, that I could have asked for – she was eager to learn, inquisitive, friendly, and respectful.  We started the day with a Mother + Daughter Session, where Julia and Alaina hugged, laughed, snuggled, and let their inner (and outer) beauty shine for the camera.  Thank you both for such a fun session!  And thank you to Sylvia for being a fabulous student!  And now for some of my favorites!

Seriously adorable!

LOVE this one!

Julia and Alaina!  You are such a beautiful pair!

Don’t you just love her curls?  And those sweet brown eyes?

They both wore fabulous shoes!  ðŸ™‚

Love this series!  Alaina took off running toward her Mom and gave her a giant hug!

This is Muffy, Alaina’s puppy.  At the end of our Session, I remarked to Alaina
that Muffy had been such a well-behaved pup, she hadn’t barked once!
Alaina politely said: “She’s just a stuffed toy!”
I said, “You’re right!  Silly me!”  ðŸ˜‰

Favorites!

Julia, you are gorgeous, my friend!  Your hubby will love this one!  ðŸ™‚

I’ll end this post with these two images, because they perfectly reflect
the love these two have for each other.

Julia and Alaina, thank you for sharing your morning with me!  You two are the best!
See you soon!

We had an absolutely beautiful March evening to do some family photos!  Spring had just started, and what better way to jump into my favorite season than with a fun family…and their sweet boxer, Toby!  We chatted and laughed as we made our way around our location.  Time flew by, and our session ended before  I knew it.  As I packed up my car, I could feel myself smiling.  Like a really big smile.  Why?  Because I had just spent time with a wonderful family who had fun spending time together, allowing me to capture it all for them.  And for that I am so grateful.  Thank you, Darren, Paula, Mitchell, Daniel, Linda, and Toby – thank you for making me smile and sharing time with me on such a beautiful day!  Let’s take a look at some of my favorites from the day!  Friend and family can view their entire online gallery here!

Mitchell and Toby!
Love both of these!

 One of my favorites!

Paula and Darren, you two are adorable.  Adorable!

And Linda, Paula’s Mom, and Daniel, worked it for the camera.

This family has such great smiles and beautiful eyes!

We had a fun time keeping Toby’s attention…she was busy watching for birds and squirrels!  ðŸ™‚

Love!!!  Did I mention that we had some great light?  Well, we did!

Another favorite!

It just so happens that TODAY is Mitchell’s 7th birthday!  Happy Birthday, Mitchell!!!
He has grown so much since the last couple of times I saw him!  (Take a peek here and here!)

Such a handsome guy!!!

Paula, you are beautiful!
Favorite…another favorite.

Or maybe this one is my favorite…look at those smiles!

The whole session I could tell just how much this family loves each other.
And how much they all adore Mitchell!

Mitchell, you are so cute!

And then it was Toby’s turn to work her magic…which wasn’t hard for her to do, just look at that face!
Such a sweet girl!!!
So you can see why this bunch made my day?
And why I joked with them about a few more hours of photos?

Before we called it a day, I had just one more spot
that I wanted to show them…and they kindly obliged. 🙂
I think Toby and my Lucy could be great friends!
Ok, I love this one too!

I’ll end with this since it’s Mitchell’s birthday!

Thank you, Darren, Paula, Mitchell, Toby, Daniel, and Linda for making this such a fun afternoon!  And
thank you for allowing me to take just one more photo!  ðŸ˜‰  You guys are the best!

Late January is usually known for snow, ice, wind, and freezing temperatures.  However, a few days before the Super Bowl, the weather man predicted unseasonably warm temps!  So when Emily Claire’s Mom called and asked to take advantage of such weather, I was so excited!  Although the sun dipped behind the clouds and the winter winds were making their way back, it didn’t phase adorable Miss Emily Claire!  She was our little ray of sunshine, and we had a fun time singing, marching, and listening to birds chirp as they flew overhead.  I can’t believe she’s 18 months old already…where does the time go?  I first met Emily Claire’s family before she was born, when Heather and Brian were anxiously awaiting her arrival.  And I’ve been so lucky to be the one to document their lives ever since!  (Take a look back here, here,  here, here, and here.)  And now for a few of my favorites from our afternoon!  Family and friends can view Emily Claire’s entire online gallery here!

Such beautiful blue eyes!

Did I mention we had beautiful light?

A favorite!

 Love your style, Em!

Check out Emily’s Toms, a gift from her Papaw!  And it just so happens that Heather, Emily Claire’s beautiful mom, loooooves the Wizard of Oz.  So, naturally, these red sparkly numbers are her favorite!

Hi there, Emily! 🙂

More favorites!

Love everything about this one…my favorite from the day!

After a quick wardrobe change, we headed to another location for a few more portraits.  It was getting more and more chilly by the minute, but Emily was a trooper!  And a cute trooper at that!

looooove!

Em, you are a total sweetheart.  Gah!

Emily Claire, thank you so much for sharing your afternoon with me!
I always have a blast with you and your wonderful family!
Can’t wait to see you again soon…someone’s got a 2nd birthday coming up!  ðŸ˜‰

We had such a beautiful fall here in the Midwest this year!  I mean, it’s always lovely in the fall.  However, this one seemed even more so.  I met up with this beautiful family on a chilly, sunny autumn morning.  Please say hello to Jason, Maria, and Emily!  For those of you who know that I also take photos for my husband’s business, Reggie’s Motorworks, you may recognize Jason.  This family, besides being a good looking bunch, is also a ton of fun!  They love being outdoors and just spending time being together.  They love to make each other laugh, to be silly, and to live in the moment.  And, Emily, oh Emily!  She’s just a doll, as you’ll soon see!  So let’s get right to the images!

Maria, you are beautiful.

Love this one!

A favorite!

Hi there, Emily!

It’s just too difficult to choose a favorite from this next series of Emily…so I won’t, I love them all!

And our light during the session?  Amazing!

Love, love, LOVE this one!

Another favorite!  You guys make me smile!

Jason, Maria, and Emily, thank you for sharing your morning with me!  It was so fun to hang out with you guys!  Emily, I bet you made something really cool with the leaves you collected that day!
Thanks again for such a fun session!
