It seems like just yesterday, I was wondering when our little guy would be sitting up, crawling, taking his first steps, and now he loves to run and climb any chance he gets! Remington is almost 21 months old, and we love him more than we could have ever imagined! I took these photos at 19 months, and just love all the expressions he let me capture! (I’ve decided that I’ll convert his age to years once he turns 2!) It can be a challenge to get photos of him, as he’s taken quite an interest in my camera these days! And he may have left some of his little fingerprints on my lens during our session… So with some help from Grandma and Grandpa (Pa-Pa!), I got some of those smiles and laughs (and serious faces too!) that melt my heart each and every day. We started in the studio before heading outside later in the day, after a good nap, of course! 😉 And now for a few favorites!
I’ve simply adored this family ever since meeting them for the first time last summer! We had celebrated Raegan’s first birthday, and now she’s a big sister! Just wait until you see Miss Remington Lynn! Don’t you love her name? Of course, I do! And I’m pretty smitten with her too! I had the happy honor of documenting their new life together at just 4 days old! Raegan was still adjusting to becoming a sister, and wasn’t quite ready to hold Remington yet…however, I’ve seen photos of the two of them together since then, and it was the cutest thing ever! I can’t wait to get them both in front of my camera again! For now, I am so excited to show you this sweet family of four! Joe, Stacy, Raegan, and Remington, you are so wonderful! Thank you for the honor of capturing this special time in your lives! Friends and family can view their entire online gallery here! And now for some favorites from our morning!
Dear Mason,
You are beautiful. Inside and out. I have had the absolute joy of photographing you since you were born 5 years ago. Where has the time gone? In the last 5 years, we’ve seen you dance and sing, laugh and play, and bring so much happiness to your parents’ lives and to all those who have had the pleasure to meet you. Through your parents and friends, we’ve heard many stories of how you share with others and how you give of yourself. You’ve shared Easter eggs with other little kids during the hunt when they didn’t get any of their own. Instead of wishing for dolls and toys for your birthday, you asked that guests pick out items that dogs and cats at a local shelter need to survive. And you volunteer at that shelter. You’ve become great friends with my little Remington. When he fusses, you always find a way to make him smile. Like singing songs to him and sharing your favorite toys with him. What a great friend and role model you are to him! I love your spirit, Mason, your love for others, your desire to be a vet, a photographer, a baker, a helper at Uncle Reggie’s shop, and several other careers, all of which involve helping others. You are such a bright light in this world! Congratulations on your graduation from pre-school and best wishes to you as you start kindergarten in the fall – I am so proud of you! You are such a special young lady, and I am so honored to know you! Hugs!!! Now that I’ve dried my eyes, here are a just a few of my many many many favorites from our spring afternoon – well, it actually felt more like summer, didn’t’ it?! I am always so excited to photograph this cute little lady! Diana recently celebrated her 4th birthday, and had fun telling me all about it! I love her spunk, her sweet smile, her little giggles, those gorgeous eyes, and, of course, her curly strawberry blond locks! The last time we hung out, it was a chilly December day, so we welcomed this bright and beautiful spring morning! Diana’s Mom scouted out some great locations near their home. We explored the woods with some wild flowers and a giant rock. Then we watched Diana dip her toes in the water along the sandy beach before finding another spot along some trails. It was a perfect day! Friends and family can view Diana’s entire online gallery here. And now for some of my favorites from our day!
