The forecast had called for rain, but the bright skies said otherwise. I met up with Amber and Daniel on a sunny spring afternoon for their engagement session. You may recognize this adorable duo from Daniel’s brother’s wedding last summer, Kayleigh + Michael. Amber and Daniel, I love how you love each other. the way you look at each other, the way you make each other smile. You make each other light up, and it’s contagious. Thank you for being fun, free-spirited, and up for anything. You are an amazing couple, and I wish you all the very best!
Amber and Daniel, thank you so much for such a great afternoon! I had a blast working with you, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. I’m certain that it will be filled with excitement, laughter, and love. Again, I wish you both all the best! See you soon!
A brown-eyed girl named Jenny grew up in a special neighborhood. This neighborhood was special not only because she lived there, but because her future husband, Aaron, also lived there. As the story goes, they were in the same group of friends, and ended up working as lifeguards at the neighborhood pool during the summer. They both taught swim lessons and coached the teen swim team. Maybe it was Aaron’s blue eyes that caught her attention, or his great smile…Jenny knew their friendship had blossomed into something more. Something deeper. They had fallen in love! Aaron has been by Jenny’s side throughout junior high, high school, and college. And in just a few short days, they’ll be promising each other forever in front of God, friends, and family. Jenny and Aaron, you are such a fun-loving, happy, down-to-earth couple, and I’m honored to be the one to document your upcoming wedding! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
They say that love is a many splendored thing, that it makes the world go round, and that it’s all you need. I couldn’t agree more! And that’s exactly why I love doing what I do! In 2010 I met some truly amazing couples, who allowed me to share in such a special time in their lives, one that is so personal, so intimate, so emotional, so very, very important. For this honor, I am so grateful. To all of my couples, I wish you the very best, and I am so excited to see what the future holds for you! And now for some of my favorites from the past year’s Engagement Sessions, Day After Sessions, and Weddings!
Engagement sessions are one of my many favorites to photograph! I love working with couple who are in love, watching them smile and laugh together, there’s just something about it that makes me so happy. I was very excited when Cyndi contacted me about her engagement photos. After hearing how she and her fiance, Joe, met, I couldn’t wait to work with them! They are both dedicated business professionals, and love family life. Joe is in the military as well, and has served in Iraq. Joe, thank you so very much for your service. It seemed as their lives were pretty complete, but lacked that one missing piece…a companion, a soul mate, one true love. They both strive for the same things in life: balance, happiness, honesty. And as luck would have it, they “clicked” on eHarmony, and I couldn’t be happier for both of them! Let’s get to their Sneak Peek, shall we?
Cyndi and Joe, you are a beautiful couple, thank you so much for spending your afternoon with me! And Taylor, thank you for coming too! It was so fun to hang out with you guys! Thank you for such a great engagement session! You absolutely rocked it!!! Talk to you soon!
After waking up bright and early for their engagement session, we met up again for a few more. This time, these two endured high heat, humidity, and bugs…must be their love and sweetness that attracted so many mosquitoes! In fact, I’m quite sure of it! Leah and Daniel, thank you so much for sharing your evening with me, I had a blast! Here are a few of my favorites from your session…including one that I accidentally forgot for their Sneak Peek!
