Mill Top // A Historic Venue with Industrial Style // Noblesville, IN

s

If you’re looking for a wedding venue with the perfect combination of industrial style and historic charm to wow your guests, consider the Mill Top! It was originally a flour mill, and has been converted into a unique space to host a wedding or to entertain guests for special events. In fact, there are several unique spaces within, so I’ll take you on a quick tour below! With the industrial style, you’ll notice exposed duct work, decorative iron railings, large windows, original hardwood flooring, and many interesting architectural details. Every time I visit, I see something I hadn’t noticed before! Each space has tremendous potential for amazing weddings, and, of course amazing photography opportunities! Over the past few years, I’ve photographed family and senior portraits, a surprise birthday party, a wedding professional networking luncheon, and The Nickel Plate Arts Gala at this incredible venue, where the staff goes above and beyond to make everything perfect! I would love to photograph a wedding here! And it happens to be located only a few miles from where I live! Win, win! Let’s get to some images, and perhaps you’ll see why I love it so much!

The Mill Top hosted the Perfect Wedding Guide’s first luncheon of 2019 in January with a beautiful elegant winter theme in The Great Room. Because it was a smaller event, they were able to make the large space more intimate with soft draping, which was so lovely! I had the honor of photographing the event for The Mill Top! Many thanks to the following professional vendor team for making the event a success:

Venue // Mill Top

Catering // Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering

Linens // LGI Linens

Florals // The French Tulip

Here is another view of The Great Room without any event set up filling the space, a blank canvas to design your perfect day!

The bar in The Great Room is amazing! During the day, it’s flooded with natural light and a view of surrounding Noblesville. At night, it is its own attraction with cool lighting! (Check out my other post to see how it looks at night!) And I can’t get over these intricate metal doors! One of my favorite details of Mill Top!

The next space I would like to share is The Ballroom. Again, the ductwork is exposed for that industrial flair, along with the mix of wood, metal, and brick throughout. Ceremonies are often performed in here with a straight aisle or with a longer diagonal aisle. How cool would that be?!

This next space is so dreamy! It’s called The Skylight Room, and it boasts several large skylights allowing abundant natural light to pour in! I can envision the sweetest, intimate ceremony in this space!

We’ll wrap up this post with one more space, The Gallery. It is a great area for special events, for hosting cocktail hour on the wedding day, and for sharing hors d’oeuvres during a private party. Not to mention it’s a perfect place for bride and groom portraits! So many amazing details and textures!

Thank you for coming on a brief tour of The Mill Top with me! Stay tuned for more in the future – there are several more spaces to share in this historic venue right in the heart of Noblesville!
