A few weeks ago, we drove up to the Windy City. Reggie’s niece was getting married, and so we ventured north along with Reggie’s Mom and brother, Mike, who would be walking Tricia down the aisle the very next day. We arrived sans problem at our hotel and got ready for the rehearsal. As soon as we pulled into the St. Luke’s parking lot, I knew it was going to be beautiful. This was one of the most stunning churches I’ve ever seen! Gorgeous wood-work, colorful stained glass, higher than heaven ceiling, and a perfectly long aisle for our perfectly sweet niece! I took photos just for fun, as she wanted me to enjoy the day with our family. Tricia and Joe, we are so happy for you! Such a beautiful couple, inside and out. Hope you enjoyed Mexico! Here was their Sneak Peek!

Isn’t this church absolutely stunning? Now this is an aisle!

The Groom holds the ceremony program with care, just before the nuptial mass begins.

The Bridal Room was perfect for getting ready.

Time for the gown!

Last minute hair and makeup, it’s almost time to go!

Gotta love the light streaming through her veil, so soft and beautiful.

After being a bit nervous all day that everything would go smoothly (which it absolutely did!), the Bride is ready…

Love the big grin on Joe’s face as they meet at the altar!

The cantor had such a wonderful voice.
Later during the ceremony she sang Ave Maria, that song always gets me,
and this day was no exception!

At last, they exchange vows and rings!
When Tricia said “I Do!”, Joe breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Thank you!” It was so cute!

In the Catholic tradition, it is customary to place a bouquet of flowers
at the Statue of the Virgin Mary during the ceremony.
Here, Tricia and Joe made there way to the side of the church and back…love their smiles!

Married!

Stunning red roses just beg to lie on a piano, don’t you think?

There was time between the ceremony and reception so that guests could rest while the bridal party was whisked away for photos around the area.
Yes, yes, here is the cake!

First Dance

Tricia and Joe were so adorable, and all eyes were on them.

Congratulations, Tricia and Joe! Wishing you both the best, and a lifetime of love and laughter! See you soon! xo

Joy, laughter, hugs, tears, beauty, and passion…all of these were present at Christa and Jeremy’s wedding. I was one of five lucky photographers to witness and capture such a beautiful, personal, heart-felt ceremony. Every detail was carefully articulated, from candles to music to wedding cake favors. This couples’ love for God, family and friends, theatre, and each other will take them to great heights, no doubt! Christa and Jeremy, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. I will never forget it! Here are my favorites from their day! If you missed the Sneak Peek, click here!

A gorgeous church on a fall day

Before the vows, Christa and Jeremy lit candles
for the guests as they walked around the church.

This moment gave me chills…in candelight, everyone held up their light,
promising to be there for this new bride and groom. It was just beautiful!

Newlyweds!

The ceremony was held on a Thursday night, and the reception followed 2 days later.
I absolutely love portraits of the bride and groom, it allows them to enjoy each other’s company, and not to mention, some really romantic moments.

Gorgeous details! The light was just amazing!

One of my favorite images ever!

Bride and Groom finery! I love wedding shoes!

A fairytale moment…

Look how he’s helping with her gorgeous gown? Chivalry at its finest!

And they danced!

Holding his new bride tightly

Just look at her smile, they are so in love!

This is one of those moments…

Christa loves the Fleur de Lis, and incorporated it into their theme,
both at the ceremony and the reception. Brilliant!

Ring Bearer. šŸ™‚

As you can tell, this couple has a keen eye for detail.
They love theatre and the arts, so why not have a medieval feast? With a jester, knights, a puppet show, dancers, musicians, delicious food, and, for their honored guests, handmade Mead with custom labels! Here are just a few details from this unique reception.

A truly sweet and one-of-a-kind couple, and their 2 day nuptial affair was doubly incredible,
and oh so sweet, just like a fairy tale.

Wishing this newly crowned Prince and Princess all the best!

Happy Thursday! My husband and I attended the wedding of a dear friend of mine. We went to middle school together for a few years, and her dad worked with my mom. One year over Spring Break, we even ran into each other – literally!! – at Disney World! That’s right! We knew we were both going to be there, but that was before cell phones made it so easy to connect. My family and I were in Epcot watching the fireworks, and I turned around to see who was behind me, and there she was, my good friend Julie! We could not believe it! And we’ve kept in touch all of these years, despite our busy schedules, and this past weekend I was a guest at her wedding. I just had to take my camera…here are a few photos. Julie and David, I wish you all the best! Your wedding was simply beautiful. Enjoy your honeymoon!

What a beautiful church!
It’s brand new, and just breathtaking! St. Malachy, Brownsburg, IN

After their processional, they came back and dismissed each row of guests.
I love this idea, what a brilliant and personal alternative to the receiving line! Loved it!
