As if I needed a reminder to take time out each day to relax, to unwind, to take in the beauty that is all around me outside right now, even in the rain… this face makes it hard to say no to an extra few minutes of playtime, to an extra long walk in the rain, to an extra kiss before bedtime.  Those extra moments make me smile at the end of the day.  And I wouldn’t trade anything for that.

What wonderful fall weather we’ve had the past week!  I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it sticks around for a while longer!  Over the weekend, I was admiring the colorful autumn leaves and taking Lucy for a walk when I looked up in the sky and saw a hot air balloon.  Imagine the view from up there!  I’ve never been in a hot air balloon, but I’m sure it’s an awesome experience!  Feeling the wind in your hair and seeing the world from a different perspective as you float along in the sky… I’m adding this to my bucket list for sure!

We found Lucy earlier this summer.  She has captured our hearts!  She has been growing so fast!  I wanted to be sure to get lots of photos while she was still a teeny tiny little pup, so one afternoon when she was very sleepy I captured some of her sweet and furry cuteness.

 

 

Later we ventured outside once the heat of the day subsided a little to get some more photos, and these are some of my absolute favorites.
