Each time I have the honor of photographing this strawberry blond, curly-haired sweetheart, I become even more smitten with her!  Maybe it’s the way her eyes sparkle with sass, with imagination, and with joy.  Maybe it’s the way she embraces her surroundings, like her sweet kitty cat and those baby chicks!  It’s definitely the way she makes me work for her attention…and the results are always some gorgeous portraits that I am so proud of and excited to share with her parents!  They adore their darling Diana, and, you will too, even more than before, if that is even possible!  Here are a *few* favorites from our recent sunny spring afternoon session!

 

 

 

I always love photographing this sweet girl!  She’s beautiful inside and out.  And she has a such a warm, friendly, bubbly personality!  For the past several years, she’s been volunteering her free time working with animals at the local shelter and reading to dogs at the library.  Instead of receiving toys and gifts for her birthday, she asks that friends and family consider donating much needed items for animals in need.  How incredible is that?!  Mason, it has been such and honor and beyond fun to watch you grow up into such a generous and thoughtful person!  Here are a few favorites from her most recent spring portrait session!  Prepare for cuteness overload! I’m so excited to share some favorites from this sweet family’s newborn session!  James and Marisa welcomed their precious baby boy, Clayton James, into the world just 3 short weeks ago, and they couldn’t be more smitten with him!  What a fun session this was!  James and Marisa are adorable together, and they radiate life and happiness and joy!  They have wonderful families and many friends who all adore them and their new addition.  Be prepared to have your heart stolen by this handsome little guy and his family!  Sit back, relax, and enjoy a few of my favorites documenting a day in the life of these proud new parents!

Oooh, Emilia!!!  Beautiful, sweet Emilia!!!  What a joy it was to photograph you on such a lovely autumn afternoon!  Emilia’s mom, Elizabeth, and I both went to IU and lived on the same floor in the dorms for two years.  We were right across the hall from each other.  She married her lifelong sweetheart, Joe.  They’ve been inseparable since 1992 and were married in November 2003, and together they have 3 of the most adorable, joyful, patient, well-behaved children I have ever met!  It seems like yesterday we were roaming that gorgeous private property on a fall day when Clark and Sydney were 4 and 2!  And now you have another little beauty, Miss Emilia!

I’m so excited to share some favorites from one of my most favorite family’s recent newborn session!  Eric and Jenny welcomed their second precious baby girl into their lives, and they couldn’t be more smitten with Miss Clara Noelle!  She is beautiful and is so lucky to have her big sister, Nicolette, to share life with as they grow!  Nicolette is almost 2 years old (see some of their family portraits from last fall at the end of this post!), and she is beyond cute!  Even their beloved pup, Viv, joined us for photos!  I’ve had the extreme honor of capturing Eric and Jenny’s wedding day, more portraits after the wedding, their first maternity announcement, and their newborn portraits.  I love having this special relationship with my clients, and seeing how they’ve grown into such a warm, caring, and joyful family has been incredibly amazing!   Before I get too sappy, let’s get to some of my many, many favorites!
