I hit the jackpot with this next family session!  The forecast called for rain at the time of our session, and while we had access to an indoor location, I really wanted to be able to get some outdoor images! As luck would have it, we were able to work quickly outside before heading indoors to wrap up our time!  Yay!  And we captured some adorable hugs and smiles and family time!  This family is upbeat, up for anything fun, and on the go!  They spend their time cheering on their favorite teams, cooking and baking together, and discovering exciting things to do around the city they call home.  They’ve designed a life that they love, and their happiness is contagious!  I’m blessed to call them neighbors and friends!  Our little boys will be in school together in the coming years so that will be such a fun time to share!  Ready for some favorites from our fall evening?  Yes, me too, my friends!  Let’s go!

It’s almost impossible to believe that 4 years ago today, you made us parents!  Little did we know what a crazy, fun-filled adventure we had embarked upon!  You are caring and sweet, full of energy and imagination, passionate (especially about dinosaurs!), intelligent and independent, fun-loving, and so much more!  We are so proud to call you our son, and we love seeing how wonderful of a big brother you have become to Emerson!  Happy 4th Birthday, Remington!  We love you to the moon and back!  xoxoxo

What a perfect evening we had to capture some sweet family portraits!  I knew as soon as I saw this beaming family walking toward me that we were going to have a wonderful time, just like last summer when I photographed Heidi’s side of the family over the Fourth of July! Each time I have the honor of photographing this strawberry blond, curly-haired sweetheart, I become even more smitten with her!  Maybe it’s the way her eyes sparkle with sass, with imagination, and with joy.  Maybe it’s the way she embraces her surroundings, like her sweet kitty cat and those baby chicks!  It’s definitely the way she makes me work for her attention…and the results are always some gorgeous portraits that I am so proud of and excited to share with her parents!  They adore their darling Diana, and, you will too, even more than before, if that is even possible!  Here are a *few* favorites from our recent sunny spring afternoon session!
