2009 Favorites: Families & Kids

I’m sure you recognize this little cutie who has appeared several times on my blog now. And I’ve mentioned before how much fun it has been to watch her grow since she was born back in January. She is fast-approaching her 1st birthday, and I cannot believe it! Mason, you are the sweetest little girl! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture you during your first year, can’t wait to see what’s next for you! For those of you interested in seeing one of the most adorable “photographic history lessons”, click the following links for Mason’s newborn, 3 months, 6 months, and family sessions. As soon as I walked in the door, Mason was very curious as to what I brought with me and when her session would begin! She was all business!

Hi there, Mason!

Mason loves books and toys, so we played with them all!

Looking over at Mommy

Those blue eyes!

Move over toys, Mason’s hopped in the basket…with some help!

Favorite! Too adorable!

Sugar and spice and everything nice, that’s what Mason’s made of!

Lil’ Traveler

Yes, another favorite. I’ve said it before, but she is just a doll!

Love this one too!

Mason, thank you for hanging out with me! Every time I see you I’m amazed at how much you’ve grown and learned, how your sweet personality shines, and how much your parents love you…all the while becoming even more adorable! See you again soon!

Remember this adorable family from last year? They have a new addition, David, and he is just as sweet as the rest of his family. This early morning shoot was fun, energetic, and full of laughs. It was so great to see you all again, I can’t wait for our session this spring!

All four boys have the most beautiful blue eyes!

Hi there, Ben!

Howdy, Justin! Had to include your funny face, since I asked for it! 😉

And this young man is a year old already! Jonathan, you’re adorable!

David is the new addition to their crew, and he is a huge Boilers fan already.

Playing football + Modeling = Snack Time!
Their secret to happiness is chocolate milk…mmm…

It’s story time!

Ben was paying attention to what I was doing…love this one!

Ok, so I love the story time photos. Can you blame me?

Watching out for Santa and his team of reindeer

I love how Ben and Justin stand on their Mom and Dad’s feet, too cute!

Another favorite.

Time for another story ’round the Christmas tree.

Thank you for a fantastic morning, Brian, Jael, Ben, Justin, Jonathan, and David – you guys are so much fun! I hope you all have a magical Christmas.
Can’t wait for you to see the rest of your images! Thanks again!

It has been so much fun watching Mason grow up! I have captured her sparkling blue eyes and adorable smile as a newborn, and then at 3 months, 6 months, and now 9 months (those photos are coming soon!). And in turn, she has captured my heart! She is the daughter of our dear friends, Sean and Kristen. I realized I hadn’t taken any family photos since her newborn session, so that had to change! And fast! My sweet husband, Reggie, was my enthusiastic assistant on this autumn evening.

One of few trees with colorful leaves still hanging on…just for Mason!

I love happy families, they make my day!

Mason kept busy, there were leaves to play with, dancing assistants to watch, and then she showed us that she can wave! It was too cute!

Mason and her Daddy. Love these!

On a little evening stroll…

Mason, your Mom is beautiful. Just like you.

Connected.

Mason was workin’ it for the camera…and then she checked on her
Mom and Dad to make sure they were paying attention!

Little Miss Mason, you are too cute!

Life is good.

Thank you, Sean, Kristen, and Mason for a fun evening!
And thank you for a delicious dinner! See you soon!

Please give a warm welcome to Chris, Kim, and Evelyn! I was so excited to meet with them on a cool, autumn day. Despite some wind and rain a few days prior to their session, there were still beautiful fall leaves on the trees. We spent some time wandering around Stonycreek Farm and later in downtown Noblesville for some portraits of Evie. After all, turning 3 is a very big deal! I have said this before, but I love my job! Meeting such nice families, just like this one, makes every moment worthwhile. Thank you so much for sharing your afternoon with me! Now on to the photos!

The oh-so-adorable Evie!

Kim, Evelyn, and Chris

We discussed many things during our session, one of them being cheese. Right, Evie? 😉

This trio enjoys the outdoors together, they love spending time outside as a family.

And Miss Evelyn is not your typicial girly-girl…although, we may say differently in a minute…
she loves leaves and sticks and the great outdoors. And several Disney characters too.

Curiousity…not just for cats!
Did we ever find out what was inside? It remains a mystery.

Who doesn’t love a little game of Peek-a-Boo? It’s a classic!

I absolutely love family silhouettes, one of my favorites!

Evie, you are such a sweetheart!

Mother and Daughter, so precious!

Frolicking in Fall…aren’t the leaves amazing?

A few days later, we met up for some portraits of Evie.
She had just turned 3 back in August.
Happy Belated Birthday, Evie!

Another favorite, I just love her expression.
Oh la la! Tres mignonne!

Evie befriended this little lady bug…how cute!

I love details, and this is another favorite of mine.

More favorites! Evie, remember how I kept telling you that you’re adorable?
This is exactly why!

Sunflowers can be a nice distraction.

A little ray of sunshine on such a cloudy day!

Chris, Kim, and Evie, it was so fun working with you! I loved meeting you, and
capturing this fun family time. Can’t wait for you to see the rest of your images!
