I’m so excited to share some favorites from this sweet family’s newborn session! James and Marisa welcomed their precious baby boy, Clayton James, into the world just 3 short weeks ago, and they couldn’t be more smitten with him! What a fun session this was! James and Marisa are adorable together, and they radiate life and happiness and joy! They have wonderful families and many friends who all adore them and their new addition. Oooh, Emilia!!! Beautiful, sweet Emilia!!! What a joy it was to photograph you on such a lovely autumn afternoon! Emilia’s mom, Elizabeth, and I both went to IU and lived on the same floor in the dorms for two years. We were right across the hall from each other. She married her lifelong sweetheart, Joe. They’ve been inseparable since 1992 and were married in November 2003, and together they have 3 of the most adorable, joyful, patient, well-behaved children I have ever met! It seems like yesterday we were roaming that gorgeous private property on a fall day when Clark and Sydney were 4 and 2! And now you have another little beauty, Miss Emilia!
I’m so excited to share some favorites from one of my most favorite family’s recent newborn session! Eric and Jenny welcomed their second precious baby girl into their lives, and they couldn’t be more smitten with Miss Clara Noelle! She is beautiful and is so lucky to have her big sister, Nicolette, to share life with as they grow! Nicolette is almost 2 years old (see some of their family portraits from last fall at the end of this post!), and she is beyond cute! Even their beloved pup, Viv, joined us for photos! I’ve had the extreme honor of capturing Eric and Jenny’s wedding day, more portraits after the wedding, their first maternity announcement, and their newborn portraits. I love having this special relationship with my clients, and seeing how they’ve grown into such a warm, caring, and joyful family has been incredibly amazing! Before I get too sappy, let’s get to some of my many, many favorites!
I’m always so excited to photograph this sweet family! Aside from being so fun, totally stylish, and oh so easy to work with, they are adorable, with so many lovable moments…from hugs to laughs to snuggles. Our morning session was blustery to say the least! Despite the wind and chilly temperatures, we got some amazing images capturing their family! Greg and Allison had just celebrated their 10th anniversary, and their two beautiful children, Harry and Lucy, celebrated their 3rd birthdays just a few months ago! I love photographing this family, so let’s get right to some favorites from our day!
This next family was just a joy to photograph! Their smiles and laughs the direct result of their togetherness as a family, and it made my job so much fun and oh so easy! Bruce and Ginger are two kind-hearted souls, proud parents of lovely Marissa and handsome Nathanael. And their pup! Oh, how I just adored their beloved dog, Henry! His bark is one that says, “Please pet me! I’ll be your friend forever!” So that’s what I did! And as you’ll see toward the end of this post, it paid off! I was all the more excited to deliver their images to the family and to Henry, and he was happy too! Even Remington had the honor of meeting Henry, and he giggled as Henry showered him with sweet doggy kisses while wagging his long tail! We had a delightful summer evening for some portraits!
