This next sweet session was full of gorgeous sunshine, smiles, and searching for butterflies in a colorful secret garden!  And the family was even sweeter, with the two most adorable sisters, Ava and Audrey.  I had the honor of photographing Audrey when she was just 5 days new!  They are excited about the arrival of their newest family member in just a few short weeks!  We spent the warm summer morning getting some portraits that I can’t wait to share!  So excited for your family, Jason and Jessica!  Ava and Audrey will be the best big sisters!!!  And now for some of my many favorites!

Say hello to these two cuties!!!  Audrey, 2, and her big sister, Ava, 4!
Lovelovelove both of these!

Seriously adorable, Miss Audrey!

Ava was so excited to be in front of the camera!  Love her smile!

Sisters!!!

Jessica, you are beautiful!

These girls adore their parents!  Love both of these!

Ava and Audrey helped me get some portraits of their Mommy and Daddy!  😉

We ventured to a beautiful garden in search of some butterflies…we did spot a few fluttering about!

Ava suggested they put on their own butterfly wings to attract more butterflies!
I love this series of them in their sparkly wings!

J + J, you are the cutest!

Stunning, glowing, radiant Momma-to-be!

Little Audrey wasn’t feeling too well during our warm and humid session, suffering from a summer cold, and this next image just melted my heart!  Daddy’s little girl!

So sweet!

Jason, Jessica, Ava, and Audrey, thank you so much for sharing your morning with me!  You guys are such a fun and easy-going family, a true joy to photograph!  So excited to meet your newest addition in the coming weeks!  Your new little one just could not ask for a more loving and lively family!  Congratulations!!!

Earlier this Spring, we learned that we’d be expecting a new addition to our family!  We let Remington in on the news right away, because we know that with a new baby comes some big changes and periods of adjustment.  Santa Claus will be pretty busy this season… Our due date is 12/25/15!  We had a perfect summer night to capture this exciting time!  On Monday, we found out if we’ll be decorating the nursery with pink or blue!  Keep reading! 😉

My handsome guys!

Reggie captured some of the sweetest photos that I will always cherish!  Remington has been giving hugs and kisses to the baby since finding out he’ll be a big brother.  And it just melts my heart!

Remington’s favorite cuddly friend had to come along… Hi Goldie!

Drumroll, please!  It’s a BOY!!!

I told Remington I had some surprises in store for him during our session.  Confetti!!!
And by the looks of the image on the right, he’s going to be a great big brother!  Poor Goldie was getting covered in blue confetti! 😉

Then it was time for blue silly string!  Once he got the hang of pressing the button, he was unstoppable!

Yay for boys!  We’re so excited that Remington will have a little brother!  He’ll be able to share all of his cars, trucks, and trains with him! 😉  We truly feel blessed and can’t wait to meet the little guy!
Thank you to Reggie and my parents for helping with this special session, and for cleaning up all of the confetti and silly string!  Love you all to pieces!

Six years ago, they danced for the first time as husband and wife in historic Fountain Square as family and friends watched them, listening to a song that quickly became a favorite of mine too.  Lucky.  And that’s how I felt having this sweet couple and their beautiful daughter, Megan, in front of my camera again.

Matt’s “instant crush” on Liliana turned into something so special and so very beautiful.  Their connection is palpable, fun-loving, and oh so sweet to witness!  You’ll see for yourselves in just a minute!

When Liliana contacted me about photographing their anniversary, I was beyond thrilled! Liliana planned every detail of their bohemian styled anniversary, including making their adorable teepee herself!  (And she later gifted it to me as we said our goodbyes!) We started at their home with some family photos and some photos to remember their home.  The home they shared as newlyweds.  The home they brought their sweet daughter to when she was born and grew into the adorable little lady she is now.  It was a  bittersweet shoot… After all, this couple’s wedding was my very first on my own, and I still remember the feeling I that day and long after arriving home, both exhausted and exhilarated in the best possible way, at having the honor of capturing their special day.  A few days after our session, this warm and genuine family moved to sunny Arizona.  I’ve always wanted to see the desert, so maybe we’ll have to plan another anniversary session soon!  Before I get any more sappy, I am excited and honored to share some of my many, many favorites from our fun evening!  Happy Anniversary, Liliana and Matt!!!

You two!!!  So adorable

Gorgeous bohemian princess, Megan!
And ohhhh, what magical light we had!!!  So dreamy!!!

Love this!

As beautiful as ever, Liliana!

The best smile, plus feather earrings and leather cuff!

And the most adorable fringe booties ever!

My favorite moments were these sweet and beautiful ones between Megan and her parents.  Gahhh!

A favorite, I love everything about this!

You two are perfection.

Matt, Liliana, and Megan, I could have photographed you all night!  Thank you so much for the honor of documenting this season of your lives, for celebrating your love and your family, especially in such a fun and unique way!  Oh Megan, what a playful, joyful, adorable sweetheart you are!  Your smiles and laughter make your Mommy and Daddy light up more than you know!
Wishing you all the very best as you settle in Arizona!
Can’t wait to plan a desert session! 😉

Photographing this blue-eyed, curly-haired sweetheart is always such a treat!  Diana is 5 years old, full of wonder and personality, and the proud owner of some new furry friends that I had the honor to meet!     Diana was so excited for this portrait session!  I always have so many favorites because she is just so much fun to have in front of my camera!  And in blogging these, I realized I have yet to blog her holiday portraits after sharing some on Facebook after her session!  So we’re in for a double dose of this little beauty!  Happy Monday!

Adorable!!!

Diana is such a happy girl!  And she has a true love for animals!  I loved seeing her hold and sing to these baby chicks!

A stone path, greenery, magical light, and a happy-go-lucky girl…did I mention that photographing this little doll is beyond fun?!

After a quick wardrobe and location change, we were ready for more!

A kind neighbor offered her lovely, serene backyard, full of summer blooms for some portraits, and, again, I was in heaven!  Oh, and love Diana’s bright smile!

Oh, Diana, you are too cute!  Really!

Oh what a magical session this was!  Despite the chilly December weather, we worked quickly to get many gorgeous images of Diana in a princess dress!  Here are a few favorites of mine!

Curls, lashes, and glitter?  Yes, please!

Even though it was cold, Diana loved twirling in her princess dress.
And the light this day was magical.

Holiday Doll right here!  Such a little beauty!

Seriously pretty, oh so pretty!

Those eyes though!!!

Diana, I always have so much fun working with you!

We had a lovely early summer evening for a portrait session of these two handsome brothers!  Please give a warm welcome to Eli (4 years old) and Riley (2 years old)!  They are completely adorable, which you’ll see for yourselves in just a moment!  I love their bright, sparkly eyes and their sweet personalities!  Eli enjoyed posing and hamming it up for the camera, while his younger brother was a little more shy and serious.  I was instantly smitten with both of them, and it is obvious that they are the best of friends!  It was a joy to meet them and their sweet parents, Brooke and Mike.  A huge thank you to a dear client of mine, Jenny, for sending another amazing family to me!  I’m so blessed and thankful to meet new and wonderful clients and friends through this job of mine!  And now for some favorites from our session!

Introducing the handsome and stylish, Eli and Riley!  And the first of many favorites!

Hi there, Eli!!!

Brothers and best of friends!

I just cannot get enough of Eli’s dimples and Riley’s soft little pout!  Could they be any cuter?!
