What a perfect evening we had to capture some sweet family portraits! I knew as soon as I saw this beaming family walking toward me that we were going to have a wonderful time, just like last summer when I photographed Heidi’s side of the family over the Fourth of July! They were all smiles and stylish from head to toe! Heidi is my cousin, and we reconnected after several years when we were both expecting our first babies back in 2012! AJ and Heidi’s sweet as pie daughter, Ellen, was born just a few days after Remington! The month of September is full of celebration for this family – they all have September birthdays! In fact, Andy just celebrated his 2nd birthday a few days ago! Happy Birthday month, AJ, Heidi, Ellen, and Andy!!! It was so much fun to photograph your adorable, loving family! Each time I have the honor of photographing this strawberry blond, curly-haired sweetheart, I become even more smitten with her! Maybe it’s the way her eyes sparkle with sass, with imagination, and with joy. Maybe it’s the way she embraces her surroundings, like her sweet kitty cat and those baby chicks! It’s definitely the way she makes me work for her attention…and the results are always some gorgeous portraits that I am so proud of and excited to share with her parents! I always love photographing this sweet girl! She’s beautiful inside and out. And she has a such a warm, friendly, bubbly personality! For the past several years, she’s been volunteering her free time working with animals at the local shelter and reading to dogs at the library. Instead of receiving toys and gifts for her birthday, she asks that friends and family consider donating much needed items for animals in need. How incredible is that?! Mason, it has been such and honor and beyond fun to watch you grow up into such a generous and thoughtful person! Here are a few favorites from her most recent spring portrait session! James and Marisa welcomed their precious baby boy, Clayton James, into the world just 3 short weeks ago, and they couldn’t be more smitten with him! What a fun session this was! James and Marisa are adorable together, and they radiate life and happiness and joy! They have wonderful families and many friends who all adore them and their new addition.
