Back in early November, I had the honor of participating in the Fall Vendor Open House at one of my favorite venues, The Sycamore at Mallow Run! After photographing Trena and Bob’s *gorgeous* wedding at their original property years ago (2011!!), a team member at Mallow Run Winery contacted me. (Yes, Trena and Bob are the couple with the infamous ring photo that will forever be a favorite because of the story it tells about who they are!) They were in the process of building a brand new venue next door, and they asked if I’d be interested in being a Preferred Vendor and to have images from Trena and Bob’s wedding featured on their new website. As you may imagine, I said yes! The dedicated team at The Sycamore is the best of the best! They thrive on creating a welcoming, warm, relaxing environment for their couples as well as for their vendors. Each and every time I’ve photographed a wedding there, they have gone above and beyond to make sure that I have everything I need to do my job. And that right there, that is top-notch service! And that is the icing on the cake when it comes to working at venues! In addition to the amazing team at The Sycamore, the property and venue itself are so so lovely! From the ample natural light pouring in through many window, to the mix of wood, stone, and metal architectural elements, to the cozy fireplaces (both indoors and out!), to the soaring ceilings and great spaces, photographing here is simply delightful! Thank you to The Sycamore for hosting another great event, and thank you to all the sweet couples who came out in the pouring rain to speak to all of us vendors! While sipping wine and coffee and tasting yummy food offerings, couples could view my sample albums, a myriad of prints, and a slideshow featuring wedding and engagement photos, including work from my previous wedding days at The Sycamore. Here’s a peek behind the scenes, as well as some fun I had with the floral the next morning while decorating my office and dining room with these beauties!!!
Many thanks to these amazing people, alongside my favorite printer and album companies for making my table shine with colorful prints of all sizes, delicate fall-hued blooms, and a new sign:

Happy Monday! We enjoyed a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday weekend with family, filled with games, food, and some holiday decorating with hearts full of gratitude and warmth! Unfortunately, both of my little ones are under the weather, so while I’ve been comforting them with extra cuddles and a Happy Meal from their favorite place, I received an exciting email! My amazing clients’ Spring wedding has been featured on the gorgeous wedding blog, The Black Tie Bride! I am so thrilled that all of the hard work of the fabulous vendor team can be seen by so many!!! Without further adieu, check out the feature here over on The Black Tie Bride! Congratulations to E + J on wedding day that was truly lovely in every way – their sweet ceremony, their blush and gold details, their heartfelt and hilarious toasts, the sunshine that illuminated their love even more…it was just a phenomenal day! And congratulations to the entire team of wedding professionals who added their creativity and expertise to every element of the day! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful couple’s best day ever, Black Tie Bride!

It’s the First Day of Spring, and after a morning of clouds and rain, I can see the sun shining outside my window! I love it! It’s been an exciting few days around here because on Friday, my new and improved website went LIVE! Cue the confetti! Hooray!!! It feels so wonderful to have this project finally checked off of my to-do list! Many, many thanks to Ryan of Second Street Creative for all of his hard work, attention to detail, and patience with me throughout this entire process!
Some of my favorite parts of the new website is that it contains my portfolio and blog all in one place! Also, all posts have been sorted into fewer, easier to find categories, like Business, Engagement, Families + Kids, Maternity, Weddings, and more! Click around and leave a note in the comments with any thoughts or feedback! I’ve learned that this is going to be an ongoing work in progress, and I’m ok with that!
Another feature that I adore is the Praise page! I am so thankful for my sweet clients who have taken the time to share their hearts and put into words what their experience with me has been like for them! I have been moved to tears over and over by their comments, and I count my lucky stars to do what I love each day! Because these amazing people have shared my name with their friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers, I continue to meet and work with even more wonderful people!
I cannot wait to share more on this new home of mine on the internet! Thank you to all who have followed along, it has meant the world to me! Cheers to this pretty new space and what’s in store for Stewart Imagery! Happy Spring, indeed!
What a fun event! I participated in the Vendor Open House at the gorgeous wedding and event venue, The Sycamore at Mallow Run! They celebrated their grand opening last summer, and I was so excited to see it during the Vendor Open House late last fall! It is such a stunning environment with wood beams, stone accent walls and fireplace, hardwood floors, large windows, outdoor patio areas, and more! I cannot wait to photograph weddings and portraits in this amazing space set on their vineyard! It was wonderful to meet so many brides and grooms and to hear about their upcoming weddings! Here are a few photos I took during the event that showcase just a hint of how beautiful The Estate Room is for wedding ceremonies and receptions! And as always, JP Parker Flowers provided the oh so pretty florals you’ll see below! Love! Thank you to Hannah and entire staff at The Sycamore at Mallow Run for hosting such a great event!
As you scroll down, you’ll see photos from Trena and Bob’s Mallow Run Winery wedding a few years ago! They had the most romantic misty wedding day, with their First Look in the vineyard…I will never forget it!
