It is true that the Indianapolis Museum of Art is a very pretty and wonderful place. The flowers, variety of color, the mix of architectural elements…there is always so much inspiration. I love how it looks different each and every time I visit. When you mix in sunshine, perfect spring weather, and a beautiful (inside and out!) senior, it makes for one fantastic session! Every time I get to work with seniors, I’m always so excited! They always have a positive outlook and are excited for the next big step in life after finishing high school. And this next senior, Allison, is no exception. She has a passion for art and life. She loves children too. She hopes to one day become an elementary school art teacher! See what I mean? I get to meet and work with such kind-hearted people who aspire to make this world a better place. Love it! Allison, thank you for such a fun session! I will admit, I do have quite a few favorites from the afternoon, and once you see the images, you’ll know how tough it was for me to narrow them down! We had a beautifully sunny fall November afternoon for Steven’s senior session. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! My streak of fantastic seniors continues, and it does bear repeating – I love my job! He’s quite an athlete, and is on the football and wrestling teams. In fact, he had just finished up his football season as a wide receiver, and had a wrestling event the morning of his session – which he won! Go, Steven! Perhaps it’s his love of sports that drive his aspirations of working in sports marketing someday, something that not many people know about him. I have no doubt that he can do whatever he sets his mind to. Steven, I wish you all the best as you wrap up your senior year and begin the next chapter of your life! And now for some favorites from his senior session! Friends and family can view Steven’s online gallery here.
The day before this session it was windy and rainy. A chill was in the air. I worried that the few colorful leaves that remained would be long gone. As luck would have it, the sun came out and lit up the last bit of fall color left here in the Midwest. Add in the light autumn breeze, which totally worked in our favor, and it was a magical day! I sound like a broken record every time I blog a senior session, but I just cannot help it! I love my job! And working with Hannah was a true delight! Yes, she has amazing blue eyes and a gorgeous smile, as you’ll see in just a moment. She also has a warm spirit, which fits her perfectly since she hopes to one day become a nurse. How am I so lucky that I get to work with such amazing young people who want to make the world a better place by helping others? This is what makes my job so rewarding, so inspiring, and so much fun! Hannah, thank you for such a fabulous session, despite the cool temperatures! And now for some of my many favorites from the day! Friends and family can view Hannah’s online gallery here.
I know I always say this when it comes to photographing seniors, but it’s true – I absolutely LOVE it! Somehow I always get the honor of working with down to earth, cheerful, all around wonderful seniors! And, as you’ll see, my latest senior is a beauty, inside and out! Please give a warm welcome to Shelby! We met up on a beautiful August evening to capture this special time in her life, her senior year. She loves hanging out with friends, and plans to go into the dental field. Shelby, I wish you all of the best as you finish your senior year and head off into the next chapter of your life! I have no doubt that only amazing things await you! Enjoy some of my favorites from Shelby’s senior session! Friends and family can view her entire online gallery here.
It was a beautiful, yet windy spring afternoon when I met up with Hannah for her senior session. The sun was shining brightly, and as we greeted each other, her smile was even brighter. From that moment I just knew we were in for a fun session! Her easy-going, laid-back nature made working with her a breeze. She loves the outdoors, yoga, reading, and her sweet basset hound, Jasper. As we ventured around town and then to a park, we chatted about life and where she would attend school in the fall. Hannah, it was such an honor to work with you, and I can’t wait to see where the future takes you! Best wishes to you as you finish your senior year and embark on a new adventure!
