A few weeks ago, Reggie and I were downtown for a little bit. It was dark, it was rainy, but it was beautiful and romantic.

I love how the street lights reflect off the wet pavement.

Remember my previous post about bokeh?

This night was the perfect opportunity for some lovely bokeh.

A side by side comparison, my favorite!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted pictures of Lola, the beloved cat that has been extra cuddly lately. She’s never been a ‘lap cat’, and doesn’t really like too much attention, in general. Although she’s always waiting for us at the door when we get home. I would love to get a photo of her just to share with you her little ritual, which I just adore. Cats and dogs may disagree with me on this, but I think they sometimes share a few similarities. And waiting at the door for some hugs and kisses, tails wagging, and little barks and chirps, are some of those few. Enough of my rambling, on to the photos!

Waking up with a camera in her face after a little Sunday afternoon nap

Lola LOVES shoes…and shoe strings. I may wrap this one up for her for Christmas and put it in her stocking! ….Yes, she has her very own stocking!
It was a gift from her “Grandma Patti” in Florida. šŸ™‚ She often naps on the stocking under the tree during the holidays.

Something outside caught her eye…

Favorite! I love her attitude, and the way
her pose echoes that of the flowers in the background.

If you have a pet, what is it about them that you love?
Do they have quirky traits that make you smile? Leave a comment to tell me about it!
Happy Weekend!

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to you all! May you enjoy the day with family, friends, and loved ones. My husband and I will be spending the day with my parents and Grandma. We’ll play Horse Collar, Uno, and Reggie will probably win every hand!

Many, many thanks to all my family, friends, and clients for making me extra thankful on this day. Because of your support and encouragement, I have been following my dreams and enjoying the ride. I can’t wait to see what’s next. Thank you so much!

And because blog posts are always better with photos, I’ll share some from our day trip to Brown County several weeks ago. The weather was fantastically sunny and warm, yet with a crispness that only fall can offer. We tasted various wines at Oliver Winery, and wandered around their beautifully kept grounds to take it all in.

As we walked around, taking fun photos of each other, a cheery voice behind us asked if she could take one of the both of us. “Yes, that would be awesome!” I exclaimed, or something to that effect. We haven’t had any photos of us together, really, since our wedding. So, thank you, kind stranger, for this thoughtful act. I love it!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Last week I had a Girls’ Day with my Mom, Aunt Janie, and Grandma. We shared delicious food made by my Aunt, lots of laughs, and made some cute crafts while chatting and snacking on Sour Cream Cocoa Banana Bread and Carrot Cake cookies. Of course I took my camera, and Peaches (aka Patches) was feeling photogenic. So I took full advantage! Maybe she’s seen Lola on my blog… Peaches, you’re such a beautiful calico cat! And, Barney, you are a sweetheart too!

Peaches is also known as Patches. She was all business.

Hello, Barney! He loves to wear scarves!

I wasn’t kidding when I said Peaches must have been feeling photogenic!

Peaches, thank you for being so cute! And to Janie, Grandma, and Mom, I had a wonderful day with you! Love you all so much!
