Oh, what a sweet treat this blog is in for today! On a perfectly warm and sunny autumn afternoon, I met this family for some fall portraits, and it was so much fun! Juli and Brad are wonderful parents to two of the most handsome little guys! Lincoln is 2, and he’s such a fantastic big brother to baby Nolan, who had just celebrated 6 months the day of our Session! And they’ll be celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary this month! This family of four loves spending time going to local parks, playing soccer, and having lots of fun! Enjoy some of my many favorites of this adorable family as they soak up a gorgeous day filled with joy and snuggles and sunshine!
It’s such a beautiful day outside, sunny and nearly 70 degrees…in November…in Indiana! For this family’s session, we had a much warmer end of summer day, however, you’d never know it was such a scorcher because of the love and joy pouring through their images! I’ve had the honor of documenting Jen and Ryan’s journey from their lovely spring engagement session to their sunny summer wedding, and now to their first child! Their son Patrick is so sweet, so handsome, and such a little charmer! He handled the heat like a champ, and soaked in his proud parents’ snuggles and songs when he needed a little soothing! The icing on the cake was when I got to hold him for a bit as we said our goodbyes after their session! What a sweet baby boy! Patrick, you light up your parents’ faces and make them beam with happiness! And what a treat it was to capture! I met this trio at one of their favorite parks – one they visited as a couple as they celebrated their engagement and even more so where they dreamed of one day bringing their own little one someday. I love it when a location holds so much meaning and heart and story for my clients! Here are some favorites from our time together!
What a lovely early fall evening we had for this gorgeous family’s portraits! It was hot and humid, however, we had the best glowing sunshine and so many hugs and smiles and pure sweetness, that it just didn’t matter! I’ve the honor of knowing Eric and Jenny since before they married, and I’ve absolutely loved being asked to capture and share in so many wonderful memories over the years for their sweet family! They are a perfect example of loving parenting, they’re always in awe of their precious girls, Nicolette and Clara, and so full of joy and thankfulness too. Before I get too sappy and say how much I adore these people, I want to share their beautiful images and let you see for yourselves how their genuine hearts and bright spirits radiate from the inside out to everyone who’s lucky enough to be called family and friends!
I hit the jackpot with this next family session! The forecast called for rain at the time of our session, and while we had access to an indoor location, I really wanted to be able to get some outdoor images! As luck would have it, we were able to work quickly outside before heading indoors to wrap up our time! Yay! And we captured some adorable hugs and smiles and family time! This family is upbeat, up for anything fun, and on the go! They spend their time cheering on their favorite teams, cooking and baking together, and discovering exciting things to do around the city they call home. They’ve designed a life that they love, and their happiness is contagious! I’m blessed to call them neighbors and friends! Our little boys will be in school together in the coming years so that will be such a fun time to share! Ready for some favorites from our fall evening? Yes, me too, my friends! Let’s go!
It’s almost impossible to believe that 4 years ago today, you made us parents! Little did we know what a crazy, fun-filled adventure we had embarked upon! You are caring and sweet, full of energy and imagination, passionate (especially about dinosaurs!), intelligent and independent, fun-loving, and so much more! We are so proud to call you our son, and we love seeing how wonderful of a big brother you have become to Emerson! Happy 4th Birthday, Remington! We love you to the moon and back! xoxoxo
