Since first meeting this family and working with them, I’ve been completely smitten with them!  Juli and Brad are loving parents to two handsome and playful boys, Lincoln and Nolan.  And a few months ago, they welcomed the most precious baby girl, Lydia, to their lives!  She is so beautiful, and just as stylish as her Mommy and the rest of the family!  You’ll just have to see her darling plaid Christmas dress, red sweater with fur collar, and the cutest red shoes!  (And Juli had her own Christmas dress from when she was a baby!) They invited me to their home to capture this exciting time as a family of five, including their sweet pup Milo!  Their beautiful home was decorated for Christmas, so we started with some holiday inspired photos before heading outdoors for some sunshine and playtime for the boys!  Then it was time for Miss Lydia to have some portraits in her adorably chic nursery!  Juli and Brad, thank you so much for the honor of photographing this special time!  Lydia has the best big brothers a girl could dream of, and I just know the three of them are going to be lifelong best friends!  Wishing you the happiest of holidays and a Happy Anniversary too!  Can’t wait to see you all again!  Here are some of my favorites from my time with your wonderful family!  xoxoxo

What a joy it was to photograph this sweet family’s new journey as a family of three!  Well, 5 actually, because we have to count their two fur babies, Edie and Layla!  I met Jeff and Julie a few years ago, before they were engaged, and as soon as I saw them together, I just knew that one day they would get married!  And now they have a precious, beautiful baby girl, Izabella Lucille!  They call her Izzy, and they are completely smitten with her, madly in love with each other.  Over the moon, overjoyed.  It was so adorable to watch them take in each and every moment together!  I could not only see, but truly feel, the awe and wonder they possess.  They happily snuggled each other in their little babe’s woodland themed nursery, in their own room, and in their warm and inviting living room.  It was all just so wonderful!  J + J, you are wonderful parents, and I loved capturing this magical and special time in your lives!  Thank you for inviting me to be a part of it!  Baby Izzy!!! This sweet little blond-haired, blue-eyed beauty holds a special place in my heart!  If you’ve followed my blog for a number of years, I’m sure you’ll recognize her adorable smile and sheer joy!  For the past 7 years, I’ve had the honor of documenting her milestones, birthday parties, and blossoming personality from behind my camera!  I first met her parents, Heather and Brian, for their gorgeous maternity session, as we explored the beautiful gardens at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, one of their favorite places to visit.  It has been such an tremendous joy and privilege to share so many special moments with this family!  Heather and Brian adore their sweet daughter, who happens to be quite an artist!  I’ve seen some of her work, and I was blown away by her talent! Emily loves nature, music and theatre, animals, science, fashion, and brought along her favorite doll, Willa.  Like I said, she is just full of individuality, personality, confidence, and compassion, and I’m so lucky to know her and her family!  Emily Claire, thank you for sharing your afternoon with me!  You continue to amaze me with your sweet disposition and passion for life and knowledge – I know your Mom and Dad are so very proud of you!!! As soon as I walked up to greet this adorable family, I knew we were in for a wonderful time!  They were all smiles and were ready for some sweet snuggles together.  Chris and Amanda are soft-spoken and kind parents, who are so proud of their handsome boy, Braxton.  This soon-to-be Big Brother melted my heart with his sparkling blue eyes, his bright smile, and his excitement for everything!  During our session, he shared one of his favorite trucks with me, so I already know that his new little brother will be one of the luckiest little guys around!  Chris, Amanda, and Braxton, it was an honor to meet you and to photograph this exciting time in your lives!  I’m so excited for you, and I cannot wait to meet your new little bundle of joy!  Enjoy some of my favorites!!!

This gorgeous family happens to be part of my family!  Alex and I are cousins, and it’s such an honor to capture precious memories for his adorable family!  In June, Cathryn and Alex traveled to Noblesville with their little girl, Leighton, who is almost 2 and a half years old.  It was a hot, hot, hot summer afternoon, and they happily smiled and laughed and snuggled their way through the session with ease!  To see some favorites from their maternity session, keep scrolling below!  However, we must fast-forward to just a few short weeks ago, as they welcomed their second baby girl into their lives, Miss Ashten!  She is beyond precious, giving them hours of sleep at a time, and melting everyone’s hearts with her little coo’s and calm demeanor.  Ashten’s nursery was a dream to photograph, with lots of natural light pouring in, colorful and heartfelt details, and a cozy vibe that wraps you up in warmth. Her big sister Leighton is a natural – she adjusted her little sister’s bow, she showered her with tiny kisses, and stared at her new sibling with awe and wonder.  It was absolutely a joy to see it all!  Especially her delicate features and tiny toes!  We took some photos in Leighton’s room too – she is so proud of her big girl room!  This new family of four (plus two furry pups!) welcomed into their stylishly restored colonial home for their newborn session, and it was so fun to relive those first few days at home with not one, but too little ones!  Alex and Cathryn, you two are wonderful parents, and I loved being there to document it for you!  What a beautiful family you have!  Thank you for sharing this special time with me!  Can’t wait to see you again!!!
