One of my last sessions before taking a little time off to prepare for the arrival of our baby was with one of the sweetest families I’ve ever met.  Allison and Greg are proud parents to twins, Harry James and Lucy Magnolia.  And their story is quite an amazing one.  Harry and Lucy were born at 28 weeks.  They stayed in the hospital, getting stronger and stronger each day.  They arrived home happy and healthy the week of their session, and I was so excited to meet them!  They are absolutely beautiful!  And their nursery is incredible!  Perfectly designed for a brother and sister, full of fun and colorful modern details.  Family and friends can view their entire online gallery here.  Let’s get right to some of my favorites from the day!

Oh, how time flies!  It seems like just yesterday that Kristen and Nick were waiting for their little guy to arrive!  And now he’s 2 1/2 years old!  I’ve had the sheer joy of documenting this family since their wedding, and seeing them now, it’s obvious they are so happy and loving every minute of being parents to adorable Colin!  (Take a glance at Colin’s other blog appearances here, here, here, here, and here.) It’s been so fun to have so many cute kiddos featured on the blog recently!  Don’t they just put a huge smile on your face?  Well, I’ve got another one for you to start the weekend!  Eden turned 1 in June!  And I was lucky enough to capture this important milestone with her!  You may remember her adorable newborn session and fall family session.  This past year has flown by, and she just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter!  Oh, and those blue eyes of hers!  Just you wait and see…she will melt your heart!    Eden, thank you for sharing your afternoon with me!  And now for some of my favorites!  Friends and family can view Eden’s entire online gallery here.

I’ve known this next sweetheart since she was a newborn.  Actually, I met her parents when they were anxiously awaiting her arrival in July just two years ago.  Emily Claire has become the light of her parents’ lives, as well as the rest of their family, and it’s so easy to see why.  This blue-eyed, fair-haired beauty is sweet as can be.  I always look forward to our time together.  At our most recent session, just a few weeks after capturing her 2nd birthday party with close family, she sang the latest songs from Adele and Katy Perry as admired colorful blooms and played in her backyard on a sunny summer morning.  It was a ton of fun, and I can’t believe I’m the lucky one chosen to capture these special moments!  To see more from this adorable family, click here, here, here, here, and here.  Friends and family can view the entire online gallery here.  And now for some of my favorites from Emily Claire’s amazing Minnie Mouse boutique themed birthday celebration and her portrait session!  Happy 2nd Birthday, Emily!!!
