I am so excited to share this next session with you all! A few years ago, I met and fell head over heels for Jenny and Eric. Their wedding day will always stand out as one of my favorites, not just because the day itself was so beautiful and fun, but because these two share such a palpable connection. With each other. With their family. And with all those who are lucky enough to call them friends. Earlier this year, Jenny contacted me to tell me of their exciting news…they would soon become parents! It was such an honor to capture some photos that they’d use to announce to the world that they were expecting their first child. And just a few short weeks ago, they welcomed sweet, precious, gorgeous baby Nicolette to the family! She is just a doll, and was the perfect little model during her session! Her big sister Viv joined us too, of course! Nicolette’s nursery is so very pretty and so chic and girly and fun – full of pink and gray details with some sparkle and a chandelier! We met up on a beautiful sunny morning to capture some holiday photos of sweet Miss Diana, who you may remember from her adorable spring session. Diana’s father, Dave, found the cutest green and red polka dot dress and just knew it was be perfect for a holiday themed portrait session! Add in Diana’s strawberry blonde ringlets and sparkling eyes and bit of glitter, and it made for such a fun time! It was quite chilly, so we worked quickly, wrapped her up in a toasty blanket every few minutes and got some beautiful images of their precious girl in record time! It has been a while since I blogged photos of my sweet baby boy, Remington! He is now a walking, almost running 15 month old toddler, who loves chasing Lucy and Lola around the house! Reggie and I never realized just how much joy he would bring to our lives! Remington is a sweetheart, he loves to cuddle and play and knows just how to flash those sparkling blue eyes of his to make me melt! Here are some favorites from the quickest of sessions right around Halloween and during the peek of fall at 13 months old. I was determined to get one – just one! – family photo! Luckily, the stars aligned and we got a few on a beautiful November afternoon! That meant I could check Family Holiday Cards off my to-do list! Hooray!
I was so excited to see this family again after such a fun session 2 years ago! We had a beautiful autumn evening, and despite the chilly temps and wind, we had a blast! I couldn’t believe how much Rowan and Marin had grown! They had fun exploring and checking out a nearby park. Rowan has perfected a great duck call – I think we had about 5 or 6 mallard ducks swimming around us at one point! I loved seeing this family just enjoy some time together…being outdoors is one of their favorite things to do! Let’s check out some of my favorites from their session! The past 7 days has been a bit crazy! I’ve been without a computer…which is bad because I’m wrapping up my busiest season with lots of editing and blogging to accomplish! However, it was nice to have a bit of a break and to spend some quality snuggling time with my baby boy! I’m happy to say that my computer is back to normal, and I’m ready to play catch up! I’m so excited to share this next family session! You may remember the sweet little face, Harrison, who recently celebrated his 1st birthday! Happy (belated!) 1st Birthday, Harrison!!! I had the awesome opportunity to photograph Harrison’s family – his proud grandparents, Mike, Carol, Alan, and Judy – as well as his Aunt Sarah, Uncle Robb, and darling cousin Emma! Sarah is expecting twin boys, so the holidays will be even more fun once they arrive! Although it was a bit chilly, we had a beautiful fall afternoon to capture their family portraits!
