My dear friend is expecting her second child in just a few short weeks! She wanted to capture this special time since she didn’t have maternity photos taken during her first pregnancy. Audrey and I have been friends since meeting our freshman year at Indiana University. We’ve run countless miles together, with dogs, and with our kiddos. Our two boys have become great friends too, which makes us so excited and happy! They both love cars, trains, animals! And soon we’ll all be swooning over a sweet baby girl! We had such a stunning and colorful fall season here in Indiana! I always look forward to capturing this next family, and we had perfect golden light, gorgeous scenery, and a fun time! I’ve known Sean and Kristen for years, and I’ve had the honor and privilege of documenting their sweet family since welcoming their adorable daughter Mason into their lives almost 6 years ago! Mason is independent, imaginative, caring, and a true delight to be around! We roamed one of my favorite area locations to capture some family portraits before coming back to our house for dinner. Oh, did we have the most gorgeous fall afternoon! Golden sunshine, vibrant fall color…did I mention dreamy golden sunshine? It was the perfect day for a family portrait session with some of the most kind-hearted and sweet people I know! Having Daniel, Julia, and Alaina in front of my camera – for their first ever family portraits! – was such an honor! Daniel has served this great country of ours, and for that I’m so appreciative and grateful! And the way he makes his two favorite ladies light up with smiles and bursts of laughter, well, that’s just an added bonus! We roamed the local pumpkin patch to capture some this trio’s charm and happiness on an incredible autumn day.
Happy New Year, friends!!! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season! Winter seems to finally be settling in, as I look out my window and see mounds of snow and ice! Time for hot cocoa, sledding, and cuddling up with warm blankets and a good book! For now, it’s time to play catch up in blogging some more gorgeous fall portrait sessions! This next family – aside from being beautiful to photograph – was so much fun! Jamal, Brandi, Ella, and Miles love to spend time together, indoors and outdoors, smiling, laughing, playing board games, venturing to parks and favorite museums. This sweet family stole my heart during their session! I’m so lucky to meet such wonderful people! Brad and Rasmy are so kind and so genuine, and they’re the best parents to two adorable kiddos, 3 year old Alex and his sister Lily who’s 1! Together, they are a happy-go-lucky bunch that love life and making every moment count. We had a perfect fall evening for their family portraits, around their cozy home and colorful neighborhood.
