It’s the last day of July, and I’ve already heard Christmas music playing in one restaurant! I saw a post on social media that there are only 5 more months of shopping until the holidays! Each year, I vow to get as much shopping done ahead of time as possible! My husband is the best gift giver! He always has the perfect idea to make the recipient feel loved and cherished. He’s one of those people that can find that wonderful something that has meaning. Now there are times when I find that something for someone and just know that they will love it…and other times, I’m searching the aisles, in a favorite store or online, feeling the pressure of finding a hidden treasure! Well, I’m hoping I can be of help to someone out there, for the holidays or any special occasion! Stewart Imagery now offers newly designed gift certificates! Need a gift in a pinch? Ask about our unique gifting options! We’re happy to help!
I love hearing about how they met and fell in love. How he makes her laugh with his sense of witty humor. And the way he makes her feel so safe and secure when he hugs her tight. I love hearing about why they chose their favorite place to get married, because it’s special to their family. Or maybe he surprised her by taking her there on their first date. Maybe they both love wine and so it only makes sense to say “I Do!” at their favorite vineyard. Or maybe they met on the stairs downtown in the Statehouse, and they want to always remember the grand serendipity of how their lives changed forever…and for the better! Perhaps saying your vows with your toes in the sand on some tropical island is more your style…I love that too!
I’m a sucker for a great love story, and I want to capture yours! Whether it be on a vineyard, in a grand hall with incredible architecture, in a beautiful rustic barn, in a garden full of colorful blooms, under the big tree that has been on your family’s property for decades, or at a historic building or landmark that speaks to your heart.
Do you know someone who is searching for their engagement and wedding photographer? Please feel free to share this post with them, and let them know that I’d love to chat wedding details with them!
Happy Wednesday!
If you follow Stewart Imagery on Facebook, you probably saw the post regarding the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show at the gorgeous Scottish Rite Cathedral. Well, it was my first bridal show… and it was such a fun and exciting experience! I must start by thanking my wonderfully talented and creative husband, Reggie, for designing and building my booth! I gave him a wish list of ideas, and he made them come to life, and it turned out so much better than I could have dreamed! Countless hours were spent daydreaming, planning, designing, building, painting, decorating, deconstructing, transporting, setting up, and tearing down. With only about 4 hours of sleep the night before the show, we were running on coffee, but more so on the exhiliration that comes with meeting and talking to hundreds of new people in a lively and oh so beautiful environment! Despite the snowy weather, everything came together perfectly. We had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful and excited newly engaged brides and couples and their families. Thank you to all brides, vendors, and friends who came to visit us over the 2 day show!
Happy Friday to you! You may recall this post from a few weeks ago…well, here are a few more images that I worked on just for fun. It was fun to put a bit of a twist on what I normally do…I felt like doing something with an advertisement style. Being stuck inside during this cold weather forces me to get creative. All of the following images feature something that I love, so maybe that’s why I had fun with these! Each one has a caption, so you may need to click on each image to see it full-size to get a better view. 🙂
My husband is a huge fan of hot sauces of all kinds and varieties. Since meeting him, I must say my tolerance for all things spicy has greatly improved! But please beware of the Dave’s Insanity sauce on the right…if you want to hear a funny story about me cooking with this particular bottle of instant wildfire, please leave a comment!
Let’s just say smoke alarms, bouts of coughing, sweating, and drinking about any cold liquid in the refrigerator are involved in said story. Want my recipe?
