For the past few years, I’ve been asked to photograph extended families…and I have to say, I love it! For so many, the only times when families see each other is at a big event such as a wedding or a funeral. And I think since the pandemic, family has become even more important! Speaking from personal experience, we did not get to see extended family like we were accustomed to, and it was hard! I love that now it is more common to invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and all the kiddos to join in for family portraits, to celebrate the joy of being together! So be on the lookout, because I’ll be sharing more and more from these very special sessions! We always have so much fun, we get a wide variety of big group and smaller groups, couples and individuals, all the guys, all the ladies, all the combinations desired! The time flies by! If you’re on the fence about doing so, take this as your sign to do the same!
Please give a warm welcome to the C Family!!! Oh my goodness, they are pure joy and fun! They were a delight to photograph, and I cannot wait to share some favorites here! Jamesha and Brent, your family is so, so beautiful! I love the connection that you and your loved ones share, it was so sweet to witness! Your precious kiddos, Xavier (age 8), Ryleigh (age 2), and Kimiyah (3 months), and nephew, Cameron (age 2), are absolutely adorable!!! Brent’s parents, Steve and Kim, brother and son, Stephen and Cameron (2), and sister, Shelby, joined us as well, and I just love all of the combinations we captured! Let’s also mention their style! The cream and navy palette popped against our fall landscape! Although we did have a chilly fall day, everyone embraced the weather as well as the busy area – we made it happen!! Fall is the most popular time of year for family portraits and for good reason(s)! I cannot wait for the opportunity to see you and your family again!! Hugs to you!!
What a BEAUTIFUL family!!! They just seem so HAPPY to be with each other!!! LOVED the locations too!!!
