Historic Ambassador House & Heritage Gardens Wedding | Annie + Ted

s

Oh, how I adored everything about Annie and Ted’s Historic Ambassador House & Heritage Garden‘s wedding day!  It is a truly beautiful hidden gem, offering endless opportunities for beautiful photographs, even in the rain…especially in the rain!  To say I was in my happy place would be an understatement!  The day was a Midwestern weather masterpiece of sorts.  Everything from bright sunshine, to overcast skies, to a light mist and sprinkles, to torrential downpour!  However, Annie and Ted, the amazing couple that they are, handled it with grace and humor and pure excitement.  Because at the end of the day, rain or shine, they would be married, officially husband and wife.  And to them, that was the most important thing, along with celebrating with dear friends and family.  Speaking of family and friends, they were so warm and friendly, and they loved spending such a beautiful day together!  Annie and Ted, I cannot express how fun and wonderful it has been to working with you over this past year as we prepared for your wedding day!  You are a fantastic pair, keeping each other at ease, smiling, laughing, and content.  I wish that for you both for all of your days and months and years of walking and journeying hand in hand.  Congratulations to you!!!  And now for some favorites to tell the story of your incredible day!

Don’t you love Annie’s bouquet?  The bride and groom love craft beer, and their florist incorporated hops into the blooms!

Annie’s handsome groom, Ted!

The couple is blessed with such an awesome group of friends!  I loved working with their fun bunch of groomsmen and bridesmaids!  They made my job easy and provided entertainment the entire time!
Meanwhile, the ladies were getting ready in the bridal suite!

As the bride had finished getting ready to meet her groom for their First Look, it began to rain outside.  Luckily, we had a backup plan, and even though the wind and rain blew in, these two had quite a romantic First Look!

The groom’s mother is quite a chef!  She made these and many other delicious treats and appetizers! Her husband is quite proud of her too!

Before dancing got underway, we stole the newlyweds for some sunset portraits, and it was sheer perfection!!!  I’m not going to apologize for the over-sharing on this part of the day, because it was just so magical after such a rainy day earlier!

I adore the two of you!!!
